The Spriggans

Origins

Once dancing peacefully beneath the moss, the Spriggans turned to violence the day the first keep was raised — some say the very stone it stands upon was hewn from a grove the Spriggans held holy. They have neither forgiven nor forgotten.

Culture

A tangle of feuds, grudges, and odd little rituals. Spriggan bands do not obey kings — they answer only to their grievances. Each sprite remembers a specific tree felled, a specific spring muddied, a specific ancestor trod underfoot.

Combat Style

Small, many, swift. A Spriggan is no great matter alone; a swarm of them is another matter entire. The dashers outpace arrow-fire; the firebrands bring brief, furious ruin.

Relations

Hostile to the Sylvan — kin long estranged. Indifferent to the other foes of Kyrath, though they march alongside the Bouldersworn when grievances align.
