The McClouds of the Highlands

Origins

The McClouds trace their line to a feud long forgotten, in which the losing clan was exiled unto the steppes. They took to the open country like fish to the burn, and now reckon the wind their kin.

Culture

Lives organized about the tartan and the table. A McCloud camp is never quiet — pipers, cousins, and claymores all press for attention at once. The Clan holds to hospitality above all, and hath been known to pause mid-battle for a proper toast.

Combat Style

Rather than hold position, the McClouds march forth. A camp is set, warriors are dispatched onto the path, and the clan meets the foe in close quarters.

Relations

The Sylvan are good neighbors, if a touch solemn. The Hearthguard are stout comrades upon the keep walls. The Forgewrights' contraptions are viewed with suspicion — a claymore hath never misfired.
